In the beginning, out of chaos God brought order... out of darkness
He brought light. He demonstrated His love for us in spite of the mess

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Three days after His death and burial Jesus rose from the tomb.
and invited the disciple that we know as "Doubting Thomas," to touch
his wounds , Thomas finally believed in the resurrected Jesus. And
Jesus said, "Blessed is he who has not seen me, yet believes."

On Good Friday, God placed the weight of sins of the entire world
on Jesus. The past-present and future sins-until He could no longer
breathe from the weight of them and He said "Father into Your hands
I commit My Spirit." (Julie Link)

For God so love the world that He gave His one and only Son.

As Paul Harvey says, "That's not the end of the Story." We do not serve a

the joy that was set before Him, endured the shame of the cross
and purchased our forgiveness and freedom, opening the way

God made him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might
become the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21
It makes me think of the song "I owed a debt I could not pay... He paid
a debt He did not owe...I needed someone to wash my sins away... and
now I sing a brand new song...Amazing Grace... Christ Jesus paid a debt
that I could never pay!"
