April 7

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of
everything; they just make the most of everything they
have. (From Anita Poland)

SCRIPTURE:
I have learned to be content whatever the circumstance.
Philippians 4:11

Paul was in prison when he wrote the above statement. I'm
not so sure I could be content with that. I am sure people who
are never content, with anything they have... are never really
happy!

April 6

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
They knew nothing about what was happening until
the flood came and destroyed them. Those who believed
where hidden in the ark. Those who believe today are
hidden in Christ. (Max Lucado-From Elva Smithson)

SCRIPTURE:
As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming
of the Son of Man. Matthew 24:37

So... the big question-are you ready?

April 5

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
One of the secrets of success is to refuse to let
temporary setbacks defeat us. ( Mary Kay)

SCRIPTURE:
Yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful,
yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich;
having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Few of us will ever have to suffer for the cause of Christ,
as Paul did, yet he NEVER considered himself defeated!

April 4

Greetings: God bless you this special Lord's Day!
Happy Easter to all of you.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Miracles are instantaneous; they cannot be summon,
but come of themselves, usually at unlikely moments
and to those who least expect them.
(Katherine A. Porter)

SCRIPTURE:
You are a God who performs miracles; you display your
power among the people. Psalm 77:14

Today, if you're able to view a sunrise or a sunset-look
upon the face of a loved-walk or run unaided and are free
to come and go as you please... you've been given the
miraculous gift of LIIFE! thank God fo this miracle!

April 3

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
The most splendid future will always depend upon the
necessity to release the past; you cannot move forward
in life unless you learn from your past mistakes and
move on. (From Joyce Bouse)

SCRIPTURE:
Here is a trustworthy saying: that Jesus Christ came into
the world to save sinners-of whom I am the worst. But for
this very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst
of sinners, Christ might display his unlimited patience.
1 Timothy 1:15-16

Paul felt himself the worst of sinners, and yet, he let go of the
past and did marvelous things for the Kingdom of Christ. That
gives hope to the rest of us!

April 2

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Few of the valuable things in life "just happen."
When they happen it is because we recognize
their importance and devote ourselves to them
(Alan Loy McGinnis)

SCRIPTURE:
Be devoted to one another. Romans 12:10

The dictionary defines devotion as... deep, steady
affection; loyalty and faithfulness. They're great
attributes of a Christian and also attributes of any
relationship. If we just let relationships happen and
don't develop them... they die a natural death of
neglect!

April 1

Greetings: God bless you as we begin a new month.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Fear less, hope more;
Whine less, breathe more;
Talk less. hear more;
Hate less, love more;
And all good things are yours.
(Author Unknown)

SCRIPTURE:
Make every effort to add to your faith, goodness
and to goodness, knowledge and to knowledge,
self-control and to self-control perseverance and
to perseverance, godliness and to godliness brother
kindness and to brotherly kindness, love
2 Peter 1:5-7

It seems Peter is saying the same thing as the thought.
A tall order... both of them, but a certain prescription
for successful living.
