THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

The Christian life is not a sprint... it is a marathon.

Training for one is far different for the rigors of

preparing for the other. The distance runner learns

to run despite the pain and stress focusing on the

completion. Like the runner as a follower of Christ,

you must dig deep to find inner strength placed there

by the Holy Spirit. (Vantage Point Meditation)

SCRIPTURE:

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen

you with power through his Spirit in your inner being.

Ephesians 3:16

You don't have to be the fastest runner on the track, you

just have to stay on the track. We all grow at different

spurts, so don't be discouraged if your growth is slow.

Guard the truth of God by putting it into practice.
