December 7

Greetings: God bless you this day!
Remember those who lost their lives at Pearl Harbor and
fly your flag today.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Perhaps you've said about a pleasant neighbor, "She always
sees the glass half-full." You've probably encountered someone
whose negative attitude causes people to accuse them of seeing
the glass half-empty.
Daily our Creator offers both much treasures. Both breath the
same air, have the same potential relationships to explore, choices
to make, talents to share, work to accomplish. It is the Lord's
generous and gracious character to give. We are blessed to receive.
By accepting God's greatest gift, His Son, Jesus Christ, we have
opportunity to flourish. (Vantage Point Devotional)

SCRIPTURE:
He causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain
on the righteous and unrighteous. Matthew 5:45

The choice is ours-we accept or reject him. While those who reject him
are blessed to a certain extent, they miss our on the Father-child
relationship!

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
There is nothing like returning to a place that remains
unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have
altered. (Nelson Mendela)

SCRIPTURE:
Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18

Growing can be painful. There are some things we do not
want to change, but nothing remains the same!

December 5

Greetings: God bless you this Lord's Day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
No Christian deserves God's grace. Yet by it you have been
saved, and without it are a walking zero. It is not surprising,
then, that your particular gifting is by grace as well. Everything
that is good in you is a reflection of God's grace. Each one of
you should use whatever gifts he/she has received to serve
others, faithfully administrating God's grace in various ways.
(Vantage Point Devotional)

SCRIPTURE:
We have different gifts, according to the grace given us.
Romans 12:6

Regardless of how gifted you are... Remember: those gifts
come from God!

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

December 4

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Never underestimate the power of courtesy. Your courtesy
may not be returned or remembered, but your discourtesy
will. (Princess Jackson Smith)

SCRIPTURE:
In your patience possess ye your soul.
Luke 21:19 (KJV)

Today's thought hits me where I live! A few weeks back, after
being put on hold for longer than I wanted, I was impatient
with my response. The receptionist pointed out to me that
the office was very busy and would I be patient with her. Do
you think she remembered me? Of course she did, especially
with the name, Fullerton, sadly she will not know I wear
another name... Christian!

December 3

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
NASA'S Kepkar space telescope has been bringing to
Astronomers a treasure trove of observations of distant
planets.
The extent of God's handiwork in the skies has only begun
to become known. How much more do we know today than
David did? And yet he knew-as we do- that the heavens show
fantastic craftmanship of a personally involved Creator. What
a dramatic example of His power.
The same Creator is a Lord of awesome love... love that was manifest
in His Son, Jesus, whose life was sacrificed for mankind and his
salvation. All planetary discoveries cannot compare with the touch of
the hand of God on the life of one sinner. (Vantage Point Devotional)

Scripture:
The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his
handiwork. Psalm 91:1

I've seen some of these remarkable pictures on youtube. It makes me
feel like such a small speck in the scheme of things and very humble
that such an Awesome Creator would care for me!

December 2

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
It isn't your position, that makes you happy or unhappy,
it's you disposition. (Robert C. Savage)

SCRIPTURE:
I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.
Philippians 4:11

During this holiday season, take the time during busy rush hour,
long lines and rude drivers to be courteous, patient, joyful and
smile at those you meet... it will do you far more good than any
one else! Now, if I can just take my own advice?

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

December1

Greetings: God bless you this day!
Tis the season already! A brand new, busy month!
Do not get so busy that you forget 'The Reason for the Season!'

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
If you want to have a delightful life at 80, here's what I recommend:
1. Stay spiritually centered.
2. Learn something new each day.
3. Wear your inside person outside.
4. Realize that tranquility is your greatest source of beauty.
5. Remember God's mercy is new every morning... and that's
grace. (Lici Swindoll)

SCRIPTURE:
However many years a man may live, let him enjoy them all.
Ecclesiastes 11:8

I remember a statement that a director for a nursing home made:
He said, "Whatever you are will become more pronounced with age.
If you were sweet younger, you will become sweeter. If you were sour
and bitter, that too will become more pronounced!"

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda
