Greetings: God bless you this day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
When we repent of our sins and become a child of God, we begin a
time of corporation with God. Being obedient from the heart is a
change in our primary love. The Holy Spirit dwelling in us will work
to give us power to overcome temptations and enticements of sin.
Responding with Christ-likeness in all situations is a process that
continues throughout life! (Vantage Point Devotional)
SCRIPTURE:
Not that I have already obtained all this, or that I have already been
made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that which Christ took
hold of me. Philippians 3:12
And sometimes Satan will whisper, "You blew it... give up!" don't
listen to him. Like Paul, press on, it is a lifetime process and God
has already won the battle!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Does your life reflect more victories or more defeats? where
do you spend your time and what are you seeking after? We
must decide today which way we want to live then start acting
on faith given to us through Jesus. (Vantage Point Devotional)
SCRIPTURE:
For whoever is born of God overcomes the world and this the
victory that overcomes the world-our faith. 1 John 5:4
Defeats does not necessarily mean that we're not following Jesus.
We will have defeats, disappointments, sorrows, failures and pain,
that's part of being human. It is how we react to these that counts,
so don't give up... keep plugging along, God is with you!

Greetings: God bless you this day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
How often do you overlook the good deeds of others? Have you
ever promised to return a favor, but for some reason, never did it?
When we are in trouble or need help, we tend to pledge whatever
someone wants in return for helping us. Bargaining is not always
a requirement or a necessity for getting help. But sometimes in
desperation we try to bargain. Have you ever tried to bargained with
God and promised him something in return? God is gracious in how
He answers our prayers, as most of us can never keep our end of the
bargain. (Vantage Point Devotional)
SCRIPTURE:
But the chief butler did not remember Joseph, but forgot him
Genesis 40:23
The chief butler eventually remembered Joseph, when Pharaoh had
a dream. Bargaining with God does not work, but I think all of us
have tried it!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
It may be that God gives us stars in their beauty to cause us
to look up-up and away from ourselves and our daily frustrations
and fear, to take a far look away from ourselves and better still,
let us look beyond the stars to the God who created them.

Is not God in the height of heaven? And behold the height of the
stars, how high they are. Job 22:12
If you've not done any star-gazing lately, I would like to suggest you go
out tonight and look up and see the glory God has prepared for you!

Greetings: God bless you this day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY!
What does it take for you to believe? For some, we want small
things, like a peaceful day. For others, we want our bodies healed.
And others want God to appear to them and give them directions.
All the request fall in line of appeasing the flesh. Our flesh does not
want to struggle. God doesn't need to prove He is God as much as
we need to prove we believe He is God. In the midst of a hassled
day and in the hurts from life's circumstances, faith is believing
without seeing. (Daily Disciples Devotional)
SCRIPTURE:
Now faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what
you do not see. Hebrews 11:1
As long as we're in the flesh we will struggle with faith without seeing,
because we're humans that live on a visual level. Just keep struggling.
We have an understanding Savior!

Not many of us will find ourselves listed in "who's who." Biographies
will be found on outstanding Americans who have made some contribution
to the cultural or economic life of our country. God has His own "who's who."
The Scripture terms it "The Book of LIfe." One need not earn a doctor's degree
or even a bachelor's degree, to be listed there. One does not need to belong to
any particular race or color nor be rich or poor. But there is one definite
requirement"You must be born again." John 3:7
