Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
We can live in broken bodies, for a time; we can endure poverty
and hardship for awhile; we can face loneliness, heartache and pain
for a season . Why? There is a second birth-life in heaven forever.
For Christ achieved victory over death on the cross. (David Roper)

SCRIPTURE:
I am the resurrection and the life. John 11:25

There is actually a second birth... before resurrection.
"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death
in order that, just as Christ was raised  from the dead through the
glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." Romans 6:4

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
In the course of life, many of you will encounter certain mountain
paths that are too difficult for you to attempt alone. You feel that
your feet are unsteady and uncertain. But when you set out on these
paths, you can depend on God to keep you from falling.

SCRIPTURE:
He will command angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
Psalm 91:11

I love these sayings... God will not take you where He will not go Himself.
And don't worry about tomorrow... He's already there!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Like newly discovered treasure, God's Word fills us with joy
and promise, no matter how many times we read it. When we
uncover the cache of riches, we become an heir of riches, that
transcends earthly values. Our cup runs over, just as the Palmist

SCRIPTURE:
My cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all
the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Greetings: God bless you this special day!
Happy Veteran's Day and THANK to all of you that served,
and to those of you who may still be serving or have a loved
one that is currently serving our country!
Don't forget to fly your flag!

You know, when we get up believing that it's gonna be a bad day, it most
likely will be... on the other hand, if we get up believing it's gonna be a GREAT
day, it most likely will... so our attitude has a lot to do with how our day will
proceed!

TREASURES TO DISCOVER:
We find treasures of truth and treasures of God's presence if we choose
to look for them. If we walk through the day with our head downcast,
we'll miss the treasures. We will miss rejoicing and being glad in this

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
An offer you shouldn't refuse,
An invitation to come to the cross.
An offer you shouldn't refuse,
God's LOVE for those who are lost.

Come to me all of you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

God offers so much... LOVE-PEACE-ETERNAL LIFE.
We are foolish if we refuse His offer.

SCRIPTURE:
A heart of peace gives life to the body. Proverbs 14:30

The above thought is the first lines to a beloved hymn and one of my
favorites. Perhaps it is the story behind the writing of this hymn that
