THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
PEACE IN CRISIS:
Peace in crises...
Is what Christianity is all about.
Jesus prayed, "Father, keep them in the world,
But the world in them, keep out!"
(First verse of today's poem)
SCRIPTURE:
Father, protect them by the power of your name-the name you
gave me-so that they may be one as we are one. John 17:11
Jesus prayed earnestly for unity... and if Christians are to have peace
in crisis of the world today, we must be unified!
Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

Greetings: God bless you this day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
From my house to your house
My Christmas prayer...
May God's hand guide you
And be with you every hour.
(First verse of today's poem)
SCRIPTURE:
Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Matthew 28:20
When I'm overwhelmed... the above Scripture is such
comforting promise!
Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

Greetings: God bless you this day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Problems always seem daunting at night. In the darkest hours,
shadows of fear and discouragement may threaten to over-
whelm you. But morning light chases away the darkness, restoring
your perspective, filling you with hope. The light of God's love is
much like the morning sunlight. It dispels the darkness from your
heart and sweeps away the shadows of fear.
(Moments of Peace in the Presence of God)
SCRIPTURE:
The Lord is God and he has made his light to shine upon us.
Psalm 118:27
I think every mother that has set up at night with a sick child, can relate to
longing for sunrise... things always look better in the light of day!
Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

December 4
Greetings: God bless you this day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
I've learned that you can tell a lot about a man by the way he handles
these three things: A rainy day, lost luggage and tangles Christmas
tree lights. (Sent to me from Phyllis Leonard)
SCRIPTURE:
A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays
folly. Proverbs 14:29
Many distractions this time of year, wear on our patience. We all need to be
reminded again... "the reason for the season!"
Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Take the time to thank those who have helped you.
(Marianne Willamson)
SCRIPTURE:
(Paul Speaking) I thank God every time I remember you
Philippians 1:3
In all of Paul's letters he was generous with his praise and thanks.
Now that the season of Christmas cards is upon us, take the time to

Greetings: God bless you this day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
When God brings a time of waiting and, appears to be
unresponsive don't fill in the time with busyness, just
wait! (Moments of Peace in the Presence of God)
SCRIPTURE:
Truly my soul silently waits for God; from him comes my
salvation. Psalm 62:1 (NKJV)
Waiting for God is hard to do, we want action, we want answers,
we want results... and when God clearly says "Wait," we often
rebel!
Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda
