THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Nothing lies beyond the reach of prayer except that which lies
outside the will of God. (Our Daily Bread)
SCRIPTURE:
Until now you have asked for nothing in My name. Ask, and you
will receive that your joy may be full. John 16:24
We need to see God as a Father, not a judge. He wants what is best
for us and He has a plan for us... but like all fathers, He wants us to ask!

Those you serve God and the cause of Christ can no longer sit in
idleness on the sidelines. As with the people of Nehemiah's day,
Christians need to stand up, boldly and proclaim they belong to
the Lord! (Vantage Point Devotional)
SCRIPTURE:
Stand up and bless the Lord your God from everlasting to everlasting.
Nehemiah 9:5
We need to be reminded that religious persecution is not on some distant
shore, but in our own backyard! Pray for those who are under attack because
of their faith!

Take heed... lest you forget the things your eyes have seen... And
teach them to you children and your grandchildren.
Deuteronomy 4-9
We've been to two funerals the in the last month; a brother and sister in
Christ, that both lived 89 years. Faith was the legacy that they left for their
family and friends... and that is the greatest gift we can pass on to the next
generation!
