THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
In dealing with loss, we can either focus on the loss or on God
Himself. The Lord invites us to look to Him and see the scope
of His goodness, His presence with us, and His  eternal love.

SCRIPTURE:
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Matthew 28:20

In the grip of grief, we do not always feel God's presence, but He has
promised to always be there, and He keeps his promises!

June 6

Greetings God bless you this day!
Today is what is known as D Day, be sure to fly your flag today.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
On June 6, 1944, three American  officers huddled in a bombshell crater
on Utah Beach in Normandy, France. Realizing the tide had carried them
to the wrong place on the beach, the trio made an impromptu decision.
"We'll start from right here." They needed to move forward from a difficult
starting point.
The Scripture tells us to follow Paul's advice to forget what lies behind and
to press forward toward Christ, (Randy Kilgore-Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
I press on toward the goal. Philippians 3:14

If there was ever a time in the history of Christianity and America for us to press
on and stand firm... "THE TIME HAS COME!"

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
If we are led by our emotions, we will do or not do what
we feel like doing. But in order to bear fruit and stay in
the will of God, we need to be able to separate our selves
from our feelings and do what God has called us to do, in
spite of ourselves. (Daily Disciples Devotional)

SCRIPTURE:
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season
we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:9

Do not trust your emotions, trust God instead!

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Words that heal...
Should be on our tongue.
Words that harm...
Can never be undone.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
The tongue is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
James 3:8

Sometimes in anger, we use our tongues a weapon, that can hurt
just as much as a fist!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Lord, You keep me safe,
Under Your protection.
Refine me in Your furnace,
For Your pleasure and perfection.
(Last verse of today's poem, taken from Psalm 12)

SCRIPTURE:
The words off the Lord are flawless, like silver  refined
in a furnace of clay. Psalm 12:6

Read the words of David in Psalm 12. In verse 8 David says,
"The wicked freely strut about when what is vile is honored by
men. Do you suppose God is refining America?

Never stop learning...
Let new Ideas sink into our head.
Never stop learning...
Or you die before you're dead!
And of course those "new ideas," should be to the
Glory of God!
