Thinking if my mama, today she would have been 103

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
One day they stand at the grave-side
And wonder how time slipped away
And little girls grow up to be mamas
And mamas will leave you one day!

SCRIPTURE:
In everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under
heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

Not all little girls grow up to be mamas but all mamas were once little girls,
and time does slip away!

Happy 4th! Don't forget to fly your flag today and give
God your thanks for what freedom we have left!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Let freedom ring
Sing out, "I'm Free"
And pray to God
That it shall always be!

SCRIPTURE:
Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for
evil; live as servants of God. Show proper respect for everyone
Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.
1 Peter 2:16-17

This is a TALL order from God through Peter. Sometimes it is not
easy to honor those in power, but it is always easy to pray for them.
And here is my prayer... "Dear God, defeat them when they're wrong,
uphold them when they're right!"
