When Corrie ten Boom and her sister was in a German prison, she
said that she thanked God for fleas, for they kept the Nazis away
from their cell and they were free to read God's word!
Now I must admit, I've never been thankful for fleas, flies or ants,
But I do feel humbled at the blessings God has showered upon me!

Greetings: God bless you this day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Try to be a leader
On life's stormy sea,
Knowing God's the pilot
And He will be with thee.
(Last verse of today's poem)
SCRIPTURE:
Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be
discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you
wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
God was giving the children of Israel another chance, as He spoke these
words to Joshua... perhaps He is giving us another chance in the elections
next year? Politicians are making ready for it and so should Christians.
This morning I was invited to a one minute prayer every morning, for our
country, I'm inviting you to join us!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
And when I've sown the seed
Help me to know,
That I just have to water,
Tis You that makes it grow!
(Last verse of today's poem)
SCRIPTURE:
I planted, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow.
1 Corinthians 3:6
We need only to tell the good news, God takes the responsibility of
growth. We cannot make another soul grow in Christ, anymore than
we can make our children grow physically. We nourish and let God
do the rest!

Reflections...
As we grow old together,
Facing each day,
In fair or stormy weather.

SCRIPTURE:
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth,
before the days of trouble come and years approach
when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them!"
Ecclesiastes 12:1
I suppose the reason older people reflect more,
they have more years to remember. I hope my
reflections are a little more positive than Solomon's
And I hope yours are too!

Have you experienced a job loss-loss of a home, loss of
money, loss of a loved one or loss of health? Most of you
have experienced one, if not all of these... Remember:
Nothing can separate us from Him!

Who will separate us form the love of Christ? Will tribulation,
or distress or, persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril,
or sword? Romans 8:35
It is not if-but when we will suffer one or all of the above, but
Paul tells us that any suffering we do now, cannot be compared
to the joy that awaits us in heaven!

Upon the rocky road ahead.
But high among the clouds, my thoughts,
And so my heart is comforted.
Beyond tomorrow there awaits
A time and place designed for me,
And my hopes rising one by one
Are golden wings against the sun!

Greetings: Gos bless you this day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
God has been mindful of us and has called us, sent letters, and
has visited us! He calls us through the gospel, has given us His
inspired Word, sent Immanuel-God with us- into he world and
left His Holy Spirit among believers.

They will call him Immanuel, which means God with us!
Matthew 1:23
Many are God's blessings, mercies, kindnesses, patience, favors, plans
and sacrifices of which Jesus was one! That should tell us how much He
loves us!
