When it comes to pain, all too often people will say (even doctors)
"What do you expect at your age?" Age should not be a factor in
wanting relief from pain!

Where is my focus? When we focus on the Lord and all we

There is so much in this busy world that clammers for our focus,
we have to keep reprograming ourselves to focus on God!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
THE CROWN AND THE CROSS:
You can't have a crown,
Without the cross.
You can't feel joy,
Without experiencing loss.

SCRIPTURE:
Jesus said, "Anyone who does not take up his cross and follow
me is not worthy of me." Matthew 10:38

Life is a balance the cross and the crown, the sunshine and the
rain, the darkness and light... we grow through the tough times!

It is a privilege to love Jesus. It is the best experience in life'
Do we take the time to tell Him so, If we show the beauty of
Jesus, by the way we live our lives, people will say," No wonder,

SCRIPTURE:
We love him because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19

The first commandment is to love God, but we must love Jesus
too... you can't love one without loving the other!

The setbacks in life can teach us to wait upon the Lord
for His help and strength. (Our Daily Bread)

Wait on the Lord, be strong and take heart and wait on the
Lord. Psalm 27:14

Jim fell Thursday night and we had to go to ER. Waiting for test
results in ER is never easy, but the "upside of this setback," there
were no broken bones and he got to come home.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

Yes, lazy days of summer,

When the heat is on the rise

And the days are long and peaceful,

You know that God's bounty has arrived.

SCRIPTURE:

I will send down showers of blessings; there will be showers

of blessings. The trees of the field will yield their fruit and 

the ground will yield its crops. Ezekiel 34: 26-27 

In the summer we certainly see the bounty of God's blessings.
