Today is a repeat of last year, but I think worth repeating:

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

Are you fun to live with? We had a friend that believed God

wanted all of us to be fun to live with. And we believe the key

is caring enough to really talk to each other about our deepest

needs and feelings. Learning to do this, even a little, has put

life into our living and loving as a family.

Technology has made it possible for us to just touch a button

and communicate around the world, but sadly that same

technology with texing, facebook and computer games, we

fail to communicate with those in our own house!

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

God's grace is evident in creation and it is God's gift to

help us through difficult times that life often brings. God's

grace is the visible evidence of his everlasting love. Even

when it appears that sorrow and grief threatens our joy,

God offers his grace to us and we experience the hope of

his promise. (Moments of Peace in the Presence of God)

SCRIPTURE:

Your lips have been anointed with grace, since God has

blessed you forever. Psalm 45:2

Today, if you are having trouble experiencing God's grace,

take a walk around your neighborhood and look for ways

that the creation speaks of his grace!

Greetings: God bless you this Lord's Day!

We not only have an empty tree, we have an empty

nest as well. The kids left about an hour ago for

LAX and on to home to Nashville. We sure enjoyed

them being here, even for such a short time.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

Let God help you find mercy for those who fail.

Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Who of us have not failed one time or another.

Being merciful to others will do you more good

There is something special about words of praise written

on paper. Cards or letters express love because of the

Pick a day to send out letters or cards. I try and make Monday

my card day!

December 25:

Greetings: God bless you this special day!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

We were blest to have most of our family here.

Russell and Jen, his wife, our daughter Janet's

middle son and who lives in the Boston area

and Bo, our son-in-law's daughter, Suzanne,

husband Kirk and their son, Sawyer was not

able to be with us, but there were 14 of us

together to share in a bounty from God's

hand. and share in gift giving and fellowship.

It is wonderful to have family. I pray that each

of you shared in the blessings from God with

family and friends. And that your day was merry

and blessed!
