You don't have to go across the sea, or even across town.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

I was hungry and you formed a humanities club

to discuss my hunger... thank you.

I was in prison and you crept off quietly to pray for

my release... nice.

I was naked and in your mind, you debated the morality

of my appearance... what good did that do?

I was sick and you knelt and thanked God for your

health... but I need you!

I was homeless and you preached to me of the shelter of

the love of God... I wish you had taken me home with you!

I was lonely and you left me alone to pray for me... why didn't

you stay and pray with me?

You seem so holy, so close to God. Yet, I am still very hungry,

imprisoned, naked, sick , homeless and lonely!

SCRIPTURE:

I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat. I was thirsty and

you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not

invite me in. I need clothes and you did not clothe me. I was sick

and in prison and you did not visit me. Matthew 25:42-43

Both the thought and the Scripture are very convicting!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

Forever is a long time:

Meditate on theses verses:

"Set you minds on things above, not on things

of his earth." (Colossians 3:2) "For what does it

profit a man if he gains the world and forfeits his

life." (Matthew 16:26) "This world is passing away

along with its desires, but whoever does the will of

God abides forever." (1 John 2:17)

Thank the Heavenly Father for the Salvation of your

soul and pray for those who haven't accepted Jesus as

their savior. (Vantage Point Devotional)

Obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of

your souls. 1 Peter 1:9

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

Is something looming in your life that seems scary?

Terrifying? Unhappy? Does it feel like the earth is

rocking and rolling under you and terror is creeping

up your spine? Life is scary. Life is uncertain. And

there's nothing wrong with theses feelings of fear.

But we don't have to succumb to those feelings. We

can surrender to whatever God allows, if we believe

He only wants the best for us.

You are safe. Trusting in your loving Heavenly Father

will help you go along for the rocking, rolling ride.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

Salvation is God's rescue of one who cannot

save himself. Christ is the deliverer. He can

save us from the power of sin, death and Satan,

which drains us of joy and threatens us with

eternal loss. We need to repent of our sins and

turn to the one who conquered death to give us
