Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Do not give up:
The enemy will use every scheme he can against us
to discourage us. When the Lord calls you to step up,
you must go. Once you make the decision, you will be
tested. Through the Holy Spirit, you can overcome and
live a life pleasing to God. (Daily Disciple Devotional)

SCRIPTURE:
Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season
we will reap a harvest, if we do not lose heart.
Galatians 6:9

Me... I'm willing to be a fool for Christ. If you step out
beyond your comfort-zone, you will mess up once in a
while, but you must ask yourself... "Is Christ worth it?"

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

Greetings: God bless you this day!
Be sure to fly your flag today in honor of
all the fallen heroes, who gave their all for our
freedom. My poem, "Fallen Heroes." honors those
that died in all the wars to keep this country free.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Thank God for what you have. Trust God for what you
need. (Author Unknown-From Mary Scroggins)

There is very few of us in America that do not have all
we need and many times we forget to thank God for
the blessings we have. Today remember to be thankful
for the many sacrifices the men and women of the
military make for us!

SCRIPTURE:
The Lord protects the simplehearted; when I was in
great need, he saved me. Psalm 116:6

Greetings God bless you this Lord's Day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
(Theodore Roosevelt)

SCRIPTURE:
Keep your lives free of money and be content with what
you have. Hebrews 13:5

Another way of saying today's thought... "bloom where you're
planted." I was struggling with the decision to take early
retirement, when I ran across the above Scripture. I retired
and never looked back and NEVER regretted it!

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
For seventy years he rejected God and scorned the
prayers of his Christian wife and daughter. Then one
Sunday morning at the close of the service, he walked
to the front of the church and accepted Christ as his
Savior. God delivered him from Sin
The children were hungry and there was no food or
money. The mother prayed. Across town a woman
remembered that she owed this mother money for
baby-sitting. She drove across town, before the grocery
store closed and paid the mother. God delivered this
family from want. (Vantage Point Devotional)

SCRIPTURE:
Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him.
Psalm 91:4

What do you need to be delivered from?

You will find as you look back on life, that the

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Anger is a condition in which the tongue works faster
than the mind. (Author Unknown-From Mary Scroggins)

SCRIPTURE:
A fool gives vent to his anger. Proverbs 29:11

The danger in anger... when it rises, our common sense flies
out the window!

May 25

Greetings: God bless you this day!
I missed yesterday, because for some reason
I could not sign in on this blog.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Everyday they show up... the things which go wrong
during the day, those irritating happenings that
disrupt routines and interrupt sleep. All have a
cumulative effect of placing stress in our life.
God desires for you to have emotional equilibrium.
Do not fight or flee. Abide, instead, in His shadow
and live victoriously. (Vantage Point Devotional)

SCRIPTURE:
Hide me in the shadow of your wings. Psalm 17:8

It is when we feel the least victorious that God can
help us most!
