Greetings: God bless you this day!

Happy Halloween to all of you.

We live in a senior mobile home park

and sadly we do not have any trick or treaters.

I miss that!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

Nothing we could ever try could compare to actually

being given a new start in life. Jesus promises us that

we not only get a new start, but we become a new creation.

We are born again in His Spirit. We are forever changed.

We hear so much about "make-over," theses days,

You can't beat the one mentioned in today's thought!

Through endurance and encouragement of the Scriptures

we have hope. Romans 15:4

We often suffer most from the things that never happen.

Our hope is found in the Scripture for real or imaginary

hurts!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

In many ways, your life is as fragile as a tiny plant.

Cold winds may blow over you, leaving you feeling

withered and ruined. But God shines his light on your

life and you can blossom again!

why should mortals wonder if God hears prayers?

We have no idea how powerful our prayers really are!

And we do not understand what a privilege it is to approach

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

The Christian walk takes one day at a time. Some days

are better than others, but everyday belongs to the

Lord. The only way to walk with the Lord consistently

is to spend time with Him everyday. When times are hard

and depression creeps in, turn to the Lord and when things

are good turn to the Lord. Listen to the Lord and be willing

to change as He guides you. (Daily Disciples Devotional)

SCRIPTURE:

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

you are with me. Psalm 23:4

In Ladies Bible Class Tuesday, we were talking about love.

Someone said you need to know someone to love them. We

need to know God to love him as well! The best way to know

God is to talk to him (in prayer) let him talk to you (through

his word)

If you belong to Christ, God is with you.

So be content in the place where He has

you right now. Choose joy even through

tough circumstances. Let His Spirit calm

you in troubled times.

THOUGH FOR TODAY:

In many ways you may feel like a prisoner. You may

have habits you cannot break, you may find yourself

in circumstances that have not changed. You may feel

God isn't answering your prayers. What are you to do?

Worship. Worship when you're sad, feel bad, after you're

mad. Worship every day, at work, at play. Worship will

change your life. Your worship might set others free as

well. (Daily Disciples Devotional)

SCRIPTURE:

Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing

to God-this is your spiritual act of worship. Romans 12:1

In other words worship is a way of life not just something

we do on Sunday!
