As you look at your life today, do you reflect the countenance

of the Lord who knows you by name? Do you live in fear or

peace? Not only does He know us by name, He places His name

It s so awesome that the God who created the universe, knows me

by name ad not only knows me, but loves me!

His love is steadfast and His power is great. Trust

Him to carry you through any tribulation. Do not let

fear be your bondsman. Believe in God's reliability

and understand that you are secure in Him.

If you are aware of a new, good thing God wants to do

in you, write it down in a journal, and put it where

you will see it over the next month. Pray for God's

direction in seeking out his will for you.

Peter was writing this to shepherds, (elders) but it applies to

all of us. He wants willing hands. He can supply the ability!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

What matters is not how good you are, but how good God is.

Thank Him for His love and mercy in Christ. Out of gratitude

do what pleases Him and when you do wrong ask Him to forgive

you. Pray that others will get a glimpse of Jesus.
