February 19

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Today, as we face choices of many kinds, we can trust our Father
to guide us in His way. He has promised to care for us. He will always
give us what we need. (David Mccasland-Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5

When we leave the choice to God, He may not provide all we want, but He
will provide all we need!

Greetings: God bless yo this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Be like a little child
Finding joy in little things
Be like a little child
Accepting all that life brings.
(A verse in today's poem)

SCRIPTURE:
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
Philippians 4:4

This letter of Paul's is filled with joy and acceptance of his
lot in life, we forget it was written while he was in prison.
If we are to be content, we need to learn to find acceptance
in God' s plan for our life and to find joy in little things.

February 15

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
This is my prayer for you----that you see yourself as God sees you, in
the midst of your own circumstances, and you will run into the open arms
of a loving and forgiving God.  (Shelby Beach-Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
Search me, God, and know my heart, test me, and know my anxious mind.
Psalm 139:23

Whether you are a caregiver or have health issues yourself, or family problems
seek the wisdom of God .When we're anxious and worry over our circumstances,
we seem to lose the  ability to process things wisely.

February 14

Greetings: God bless you this day.
Happy Valentine's Day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
May our God help us to live in security--to know each day
the belonging that we have as members of His family.
(Mart Dehaan-Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
You are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens
With God's people. Ephesians 2:19

I love what Sam Shewmaker once said. Sam has been in the mission
work all his life and was born in Africa, to missionary parents.
He said, "My birth certificate says I'm African. My drivers license says
I'm American, but my Bible says I'm a citizen of heaven and I believe my
Bible."  Believers have this common bond, that we're citizens of heaven!

February 13

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
The most difficult situations we face  can be doorways to a deeper
relationship with our Lord. This begins when we call on Him to help
us in our trouble. (David Mccasland-Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
When I am in distress, I call on you, because you answer me.
Psalm 86:7

Prayer is a privilege as well as a command. God knows what we need,
but He wants us to ask. He wants to communicate with us. How can we
love Him, if we do knot know Him? And how can we know Him, if we
do not read His Word and talk to Him?

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda
