THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
You'd think everyone would naturally be helpful. But not
always. Just ask Eleanor Bradley. While shopping on Fifth
Avenue in crowded Manhattan , she fell and broke her leg.
She sat, helpless and crying for someone to help her. How
long? This woman pleaded for forty minutes, as people
walked by, before someone stopped to help.
(Lynn Anderson-'The Jesus Touch')
SCRIPTURE:
The priest passed by the man; the Levite passed by him also, but
the Samaritan stopped to help. Jesus asked, "Which of these three
was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?"
Luke 10:31 & 36
We live in a complacent world of self-interest. We need to be very
careful that we do not fall into its trap!
Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda
