THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
"You blew it." "You can never go back!" "It's all over
now." Perhaps you've whispered these statements to
yourself after making a blunder (large or small) or
maybe you've uttered similar words. But is it true?
Paul didn't think so. He became a peacemaker between
Onesimus and Philemon. He didn't force the issue. God
doesn't force us, but Christ died so we could be right
with God. (Vantage Point Devotional)
SCRIPTURE:
I preferred to do nothing without your consent, in order
that your goodness might not be by compulsion, but your
own free will. Philemon 14
We have a choice: God never forced Himself on anyone.
He issues an invitation to everyone. He wants us to come
to Him by choice, not compulsion!
