Don't insulate yourself from people that you might be able to
bless with the love of Jesus. Encounter something new. Talk to
strangers. In other words... get out of the boat!

Jesus did not chastise the woman for wanting the best for
her sons. He simply pointed her is a different direction.. I think
He would say to today's moms  that if they wanted their children
to be great, they should teach them to serve.

Whoever wants to be great among you, must be your servant and
whoever wants to be first, must be your slave. Matthew 20:26

Jesus' thinking was so radical to them... how could one be a servant and
slave and be great? Of course they were looking at the world's view
of great...and are we not guilty of that was well?

What does pray continually mean? I think it  means be
on a speaking relationship with God, sending up small
prayers many times a day. Talk your day over with God.
Nothing is too small to talk to God about...if He has the
hairs of our head numbered, He is interested in our day!

God is the God of love, but He is also the God to be revered.
Perhaps we do not hold Him in as high esteem as we should?

fell face down to ground.

I think of Jesus---God in human form---in the garden
wrestling in ways we cannot fathom. And yet, He trusted
the Father to subdue all His "what ifs" and He prayed.
"Thy will be done." I want to pray that too!

I think that sometimes we feel worthless and insignificant,
much like the sparrow that had little value in the market place.
We need to remember that,  just as God knows the sparrow, He

As parents, nothing that concerns our children or grandchildren is too

we have, He is hears and He cares!
