THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

You see it all the time. People achieve success and

their personal lives fall apart. As someone once said,

"Success has made failures out of many." But does this

have to happen? Bobby Braden once said, "Don't glorify

the onions of this world." Trusting in God does not

guarantee you worldly riches, but the Bible teaches that

something for more important will result, blessings

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence

is in him. Job 17:9

I've heard it said, "no one ever confessed on his or her

death bed, that they regretted spending time with their

family!"

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

It rains on the just and the unjust alike. It falls

on the saved and unsaved we are not spared from trials

just because we are Christians. But it is through everyday

issues of life that we change into Christ-likeness because

of them. Jesus is our example as well as our intercessor,

who understands whatever we are going through.

If Christ, who had no sin, had to suffer, why do we think

we should be exempt?

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

All things big and small, flow out of the purpose of God

and serve his good will. When the world appears out of

control, it isn't. When warmongers appear in charge, they

are not. When ecological catastrophes dominate the day,

SCRIPTURE:

This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

Who is it that overcomes the world? Only those who believe

that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 1 John 5: 4-5

One of the reasons we're not to be troubled.... Satan my win

a battle or two, but God has already won the war!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

Waiting on God is one of the hardest things that

petitioners must learn to accept. That is why it is

so important to focus on the power of God at all

times. Nothing is impossible for Him.

Believe the miracles that you may know and understand

that the Father is in me, And I in the Father. John 10:38

We all must spend time in God's waiting room. That is

where we grow and learn patience. If you're now in His

waiting room, know He is planning something better for

you. Jim and I were married 25 years before he became

a Christian. The wait was worth it!!!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

How many times have you wondered if circumstances

in your life was from God or Satan? And-think of your

prayer life, can you say it has a tendency to reflect the

will of the Father or your will? We get confused because

a lot of times our flesh pleads louder than our spirit.

Even as believers, we have our own ideas of what God

should do and how he should do it. The world wants to

worship something that makes sense to them. They want

to see, hear and feel what's good to them. That is not God's

way. God is pleased when we walk by faith and not by sight.

SCRIPTURE:

The righteous shall live by faith. Romans 1:17

Things may not always make sense to us, but God's ways

are not our ways... that's where faith comes in!

Study God's word and live under His grace.

Be conformed each day to His will. Let Your

transformed life be a light to the world and to

your neighbors, who have yet to experience new

SCRIPTURE:

Now if we have died with Christ, we believe we will

also live with him. Romans 6:8

We don't always have to use words to let our light

shine. Sometimes, the best testimony is how we

treat our neighbor!
