THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
We may not like what we see and hear from some aspects of society,
but remember this: God is still in control. Trust Him to do what

It isn't easy not to fret when Christians are being killed around the world.
but God still has a plan and is still in control. Be in prayer for Christians
around the world.

Greetings: I hope y'all had a lovely Easter.

THOUGHT FOR YODAY:
In the annals of US advertising the two word slogan "Got Milk?"
captured almost everyone's attention.
If "Got Milk," is a good reminder to drink milk, perhaps we could
create some two-word slogans: "Give In," to God for He loves you.
"Get Close," to Him and let Him run the show. "Get Down,"  we
need to be humble before God . "Thank You," We could never offer
enough thanks for what  He has done for us.

Perhaps you can think of more "two-word" phrases that means submit
to God!

Greetings God bless you this special Lord's Day!
Happy Easter. This is the last day of our journey with Jesus.
Yesterday was the Sabbath and a day of rest, today the women
go to the tomb to take the spices they had prepared for His burial
and they find the tomb EMPTY!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
The resurrection is the foundation of our faith.

I am the resurrection and the life. John 11:25

Greetings: God bless you this day!
It is day 7 in our journey with Jesus. He has been crucified
and today is a day of rest for His followers.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
God is good... make sure the people in your world know what
he has done for you. (Our Daily Bread)


SCRIPTURE:
May the people praise you O God; may all the people praise you.
Psalm 67: 3

There is never been a time in the history of Christianity, when this
message is more needed!

Greetings: God bless you this day!
Today is Good Friday and day six on our journey with Jesus
and we have come to the cross.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Dying for me was the most He could do
Living for Him is the least I can do.
(From God's Not Dead)

SCRIPTURE:
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son.
John 3:16

I must confess He does His part much better that I do mine!
I am so thankful for His grace!

Greetings God bless you this day.
Day 5 of our journey with Jesus to the cross.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
A SAVIOR'S EYES:
Peter wept such bitter tears
For his weakness and his wrong,
As they led Jesus out
Among the angry throng.

When Peter looked at Jesus,
He saw to his surprise,
Only love and forgiveness
In his Savior's eyes.
(The last two verses in today's poem)

SCRIPTURE:
He (Peter) denied it again with an oath.
"I do not know this man!" Matthew 26:72

Two lessons to learn from Peter... Jesus is forgiving and
there is always a second chance.

Happy April fools day!
Day 4 of our journey with Jesus to the cross.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
GETHSEMANE:
We all have our Gethsemane
With indecision, pain and loss.
We feel the weight of the world
And the burden of the cross.

But Jesu was comforted,
By Angels that day,
We will have the comfort
Of the One that's been that way.
(The first two verses of today's poem)

SCRIPTURE:
An Angel from heaven appeared  to him and strengthened
him. Luke 22:43

 I have a feeling this was a favorite place in Jerusalem for
Jesus. In the quiet among the olive trees. It was quiet and
peaceful the day we visited it. Do you have  favorite quiet
place to pray?
