Greetings; God bless you this day!
Happy Labor Day to all of you.

TOUGHT FOR TODAY:
In Christ the hopeless find hope.
(Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope
through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:3

Yesterday, through e-mail, someone sent me a picture of a sign on a
Mosque in Michigan , that read ...In the name off Allah kill all the
Americans.  It's kind of scary when a sign like this is allowed in America,
and we sometimes lose hope, but we need to remember: no matter who
is president or in charge, Christ is still KING!

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
SHARED STRUGGLES:
We can get further together than we can alone
(Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
Share each other's burdens and this way obey the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2

Someone once said..."A burden shared is a burden halved." For a
Christian, sharing our struggles is a must!

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

Fill each day with gratitude because grateful people are
happy people! (Joan Clayton-Power for Today)

SCRIPTURE:
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed
you were called in the one body, and be thankful. Colossians 3:15

And remember that the grateful heart will make the best memories!

September's Song...
Plans are made for winter-wear.
September's song...
God's paintbrush is busy everywhere.
(Last verse of today's poem)

SCRIPTURE:
As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat
summer and winter, day and night will not cease. Genesis 8:22

The above is a promise God made to Noah after the flood and each sunrise
is evident that God keeps His promises!

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

September 3

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
CONSIDER IT'S THE LORD:
He comes at our darkest hour. When our bodies are weak from
exertion, when our souls are bowed with defeat, He gives promise,
reward, and rest. But, mostly He gives His comforting presence.
No need to ask who it is. With John, we can say, "It is the Lord!"
(Billie Silvey-Power for Today)

SCRIPTURE:
Come to me all you who are burdened and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28

As Job said,  "Do we accept the good things from God and not the
trouble."  Mankind is quick to blame God when things go wrong,
but forget to thank Him when things are going right!

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

September 2

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Trust in the Lord is a cure for a fearful spirit.
(Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
I sought the Lord and He heard me, and delivered me from
all fears. Psalm 34:4

Prayer works and God is merciful, when we fall short!

Know I prayed for you today. Blesings-Freda

September 1

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
We are dependent on the Lord as we face life's struggles. He longs
for us to come to Him today in humility. And He'll be there for us
again tomorrow (Kelia Ochos-Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
For I know the plans I have made for you declares the Lord.
Jeremiah 29:11

God has a plan for each of us, but often, we mess up and He has to
work around our mistakes!

Know I prayer for you today.Blessings-Freda
