Greetings; God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
I remember as a teenager, often being told that if I made the
right moral choices, people would respect me. Sadly this would
not often be the case and it seems much less so today. So, if the
point is not that God will swoop down in the like of a "Super
Hero." What is it? It is despite appearances, God is in control
and we are called to be faithful, on matter what.

SCRIPTURE:
If you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that
you bear that name. 1 Peter 4:16

We have suffered very little for our faith in America, but times are
changing... are we ready?

SCRIPTURE:
Create in me a pure heart,  O God.
Psalm 51:10

If we do not learn how to see with the heart, we will fail to see God,
for He is not visible to the eye.

inexplicable and seemingly senseless circumstances of

Blessed are those that and hunger thirst for righteousness, for
they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6

Know that God 's hand is on all we do....nothing is too small for His
attention!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
The faithfulness of God is a story that we have the privilege to
pass on. Record it in some way and share it. Be a good steward
of the story God is telling through you. (Julie Link-Our Daily Bread)

Take heed...least your eyes forget the things you have seen... and teach
them to your children and grandchildren.  Deuteronomy 4:6


The way I try to tell God's story is through my poetry and of course the
way I live my life. But  sometimes they both miss the mark!

Jesus' description of the work of a true Shepherd makes us want
to be those sheep...Follow Him, as He goes ahead of His sheep.
Follow without question or turning back.  (Power for Today)

SCRIPTURE:
The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want.
Psalm 23:1

A little boy was attempting to recite the 23rd Psalm
And he said. "The Lord is my shepherd and that's all I want."
I would say that's a pretty good version!
