Faith relies on our Almighty God's unchanging character

SCRPTURE:
The God we serve is able to deliver us.
Daniel  3:17

This Scripture comes from the story of the three young
men that Nebuchadnezzar threw into the fiery furnace.
They told him, even if God does not choose to save us,
we will still believe in Him! That's trust. God may not to
choose to save us from very circumstance in life, but He
has certainly promised to save us in the next life.

Do not be anxious for anything, but in every situation,
by prayer, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.
Philippians 4:6

God must be so sorry, when we flounder and worry about
things out of our control, when He is the answer to all of
our problems.

So it is by grace you have been saved, through faith,

I watched "It's A Wonderful Life," again last night.
It has has endured years of success, because of the
message. We can all identify with George Bailey.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
A godly example is the greatest witness.

SCRIPTURE:
If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater.
He that believes on the Son of God has that witness in himself.
1 John 5:9-10

We should be a witness all year for God, but this blessed giving
season has so many opportunities to be a great witness for the Lord.

Burdens are lifted at Calvary.

Come to me all of you who are weary and burdened
 and I will give you rest.
Matthew  11:28

There is no need for us to feel weary and burdened, for
Jesus has promised to carry our load.

you rest. Matthew 11:28

It is unnecessary for us o carry a heavy burden, when Jesus has
promised to carry it for us!
