November 30

Greetings: God bless you this day!
This week I'll be sending out each day a play on the days of the
week chores, with a Christian emphasis.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
MONDAY-WASH DAY:
Lord, help me wash away all my selfishness and vanity, so
I can serve you with perfect humility through the week
ahead. (Author Unknown-From Joyce Bouse)

SCRIPTURE:
An unfriendly man pursues selfish ends.

Today, go out and face a selfish world... one smile at a time!

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

November 29

Greetings: God bless you this Lord's Day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
You live with a daily onslaught of tragic news from around
the world and close to home-sad images from the TV, heart-
breaking stories from friends. The hard realities can rob you
of your joy and replace it with fear. You can lay your fears to
rest. You can give God your cares and burdens and place your
trust completely in him.
(Moments of Peace in the Presence of God)

SCRIPTURE:
Keep me safe O Lord, for in you I take refuge. Psalm 16:1

As the old song goes... "Where can I go but to the Lord?"

Know I prayed for you today. Blessing-Freda

November 28

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
The cost of giving your best is high. The only thing that
costs more, is not giving your best. (Kent M. Keith)

SCRIPTURE:
I know your deeds, you are neither cold or hot. I wish you
were either one or the other. Revelation 3:15

Luke warm will not wash with God. He gave his best and expects
us to do the same... however I thank him for his grace, when I fail
to give my best!

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

November 27

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
God's greatness and majesty are evidenced everywhere,
if we look at the world with childlike eyes-birds fly from
branch to branch, fish dart here and there in the sea, geckos
skitter across warm rocks and stars shoot across the sky. A
child has no difficulty believing that God made all things.
(Moments of Peace in the Presence of God)

SCRIPTURE:
The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the
work of his hands Psalm 19:1

As adults, we sometimes become too busy to stop and see
God's hand at work in nature. Perhaps that is way God asks
us to become as little children... so can continue to see the
simple beauty of who he is!

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

November 26

Greetings: God bless you this day!
I hope all of you have a very blessed Thanksgiving Day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Count You Blessings:
Thanksgiving comes to us each year,
Some pray, some feast. some rest.
I fold my hands and bow my head
And count the ways I'm blest.
(Lucille Crumley)

SCRIPTURE:
If I take part in the meal with thankfulness,
why am I denounced for something I thank
God for? 1 Corinthians 10:30

Today, count your blessings instead of calories
and thank God you have calories to count!

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

November 25

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
The wonderful thing about our God is that his commands
are always accompanied with his help! God even assists us
with our, "want to be." In Philippians 2, we're reminded
that God works in us enabling us, "to will" and act according
to his purpose. So whether you're struggling with your
"want to be,' or your "how to," you can rely on God 's
leading to obey and to give you what you need, whether
wisdom or desire. (Megan Gillan)

SCRIPTURE:
If any of you lack wisdom, he should ask God, who gives
generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given
to him. James 1:5

If your, "want to," doesn't match you, "how to"... pray for wisdom
and God will supply it!

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

November 24

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil-it has
no point. (Billy Graham-From Carolyn Hicks)

SCRIPTURE:
A fool says in his heart, "There is no God."
Psalm 14:1

If this nation's plans seem pointless... perhaps it's because
God has been left out of those plans?

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda
