Fear is a choice, learning to trust God is a process.

David discovered this principle at some point.

When your present situation or that of a loved one

immobilizes you with fear, isn't that a clear indication

SCRIPTURE:

When I am afraid, I put my trust in him. Psalm 56:3

Fear is a natural response to danger. God knows this

and is patient with us, as He was when David feared for

his life!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Unity among believers comes from their unity with God.

SCRIPTURE:

My prayer is that all my be one, Father, just as you are in me

and I in you. May they also be in us so that the world may

believe that you sent me. John 17: 20-21

Christ prayed the above prayer just before his arrest. Discord

is one of Satan's best tools. If we are not unified with each other,

how can we win the world for Christ?

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

Many people will try to earn your trust-or

suggest short cuts-but there is only One who

knows the way. Christ has already traveled the

path, He asks you to take. He understands the

hardships ahead and the joys that await you,

when you say, "I trust You." Have you been

lured away by the world? Today is a great day

to reaffirm your reliance on God.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

Our choices and behavior really do impact others,

just as a little leaven makes the whole lump rise.

We need to know the word of God, so we can love

others according to God's standards. True love

speaks out in kindness and compassion.

My e-mail is sort of hit and miss

I could not get on line this morning.

I have a new modem coming, so maybe

things will get back to normal when that

is installed!

Endure hardships as discipline , God is treating

you like sons. Hebrews 12:7

Enduring hardships is neither easy or fun, but we

cannot get through this life without enduring some

of them. Just remember God is for us... not against

us... and this too, shall pass!!

I don't know if you missed me, but I missed you.

I think I've had e-mail withdrawal. I have been

having problems and been unable to get on line.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

You too can be a favored child of God. He lifts a spreading

wing to cover you with warmth and safety, and you can take

refuge in His protection.
