possible, resting in the Presence of your Shepherd. This electronic
age keeps My children "wired" much of the time, too tense to find
me in the midst of their moments. I built in you a need to rest.

Greetings: God bless you this Lord's Day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
WHO IS JESUS:
He worked in a carpenter shop until He was thirty and then for
three years He was an itinerant preacher.
He never owned a home. He never wrote a book. He never held
an office. He never had a family. He never went to college. He
never put foot in a big city. He never traveled two hundred miles
from the place He was born. He never did any of the things that
usually accompany greatness. He had no credentials but Himself.
(The Way)
SCRIPTURE:
Land of Zebulum and land of Naphtali, the way to the sea, along
the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles... the people have seen a great
light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light
has dawned. Isaiah 9:1-2
And that light is JESUS. He brought religion to the common man!

Greetings; God bless you this day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
We tend to long for the mountain top experiences of life.
But even if we find them at times, we do not consistently
live there. We spend most of our time in the valleys. We
need to learn how the Word of God is a "lamp unto our feet
and a light unto our path," as we walk through the valleys.
We can find great victory in the valleys , when we keep our
focus on God. (Daily Disciple Devotional)
SCRIPTURE:
They went up over the mountain and down into the valleys, to the
place which You founded for them. Psalm 104:8
There is danger in lingering too long on the mountain top. We may begin
to feel we do not need God or we may become complacent and take our
blessings for granted.

Greetings: God bless you this day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
I sometimes wonder what of this life we will take into the everlasting
Kingdom of God. Our bodies and possessions do not go, our efforts
and our failures do not go, and even our closest friends or family
members do not go in tandem with us. Our souls and spirits may only
retain the love and wisdom we have garnered from our brief stay on
earth. I have faith to believe our little handful of love will bring a radiant
smile from our Lord and Savior. (Christian Voices)
SCRIPTURE:
For where your treasure is, where your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21
Love is a treasure that is transferrable!

We live in a fear-filled world with messed up and broken
relationships. For many people, love is fleeting, not permanent.
But thank God, His love "endures forever." Nothing can ever

Our route is charted in the councils of heaven and rooted in
the sovereign purpose of God. (Our Daily Bread)

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race. I have kept
the faith. Now there is in store for me a crown of righteousness.
2 Timothy 4:7
Paul followed God's plan, after many stops, starts, mistakes and
misunderstandings. Our life is like that too, sometimes. But we can
have the same assurance that Paul had!

God loves us more than we can comprehend and everything
He does is for our best interest. His main desire is for us to be
His totally and completely. Do you feel God has abandoned
you or just forgotten you? Ask Him to help you understand
more His ways. Ask Him to open your mind to trust His higher
ways will always be the best. (Daily Disciples Devotional)

We are sometimes frustrated because we cannot comprehend God's
plan for our lives. When we suffer pain or loss of a loved one, we
cannot see how this will be a benefit. God does not mind when we ask,
"Why?"But in the end, we just have to trust Him for He is God and We
are not. He does not looks at life as we do.
