July 30

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Yes, you see God's fingerprints
Everywhere you look,
But you'll find them most of all,
On the pages of His Book!
(The last verse of today's poem)

SCRIPTURE:
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God.  He was with God in the
beginning. John 1:1

We will never get to know who God or His Son really are,
unless we read His Word!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Worry ends where faith begins.
(Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you.
Psalm 55:22

It is not one bit hard for me to cast my cares on the Lord,
but leaving them there is another matter!  I'm a bit like the
old gentleman that accepted a ride in a strangers wagon.
He kept his pack on his back and the wagon owner said,
"Friend, put your pack in the floor of the wagon." The old
man answered, "O, I can't do that! It's enough that you
offered me a ride, I can't ask you to carry my pack too!

May the Lord make your love increase and overflow
for others. 1 Thessalonians 3:12

May the Lord increase your blessings each day and
decrease your cares along the way!

their children it will be a refuge. Proverbs 14:26

Think of the challenges you face at this moment, and write
these words beside each one,  a reminder of His faithfulness
and care: "For this, I have Jesus."
Marion Stroud-Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
The Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on
his afflicted ones. Isaiah 49:13

No matter what we are going through, if we write our blessings
on one side and our burdens and cares on another... our list
of blessings will always be longer!

Thank God for early summer mornings,
When the day is completely new...

every morning; great is you faithfulness.

with promise!
