Greetings: God bless you this Lord's Day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Jesus took our place to give us His peace.
(Our Daily Bread)
SCRIPTURE:
May the peace of God which transcends all understanding guard
your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus! Philippians 4:7

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
AN OLD WOMAN'S PRAYER:
Father I am old
But my heart is very young
And my praise and song to You
Is ever on my tongue!
(Last Verse of Today's poem)
From December 3, 2013
SCRIPTURE:
I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise is always on my
lips. Psalm 34:1
I ran across this poem this morning and reposted it... kind of a reminder
as we get into the busy Christmas season... to remember that I'm not so
young and to keep in mind... "Jesus is the reason for the season!"
Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness
and will sing praises to the name of the Lord Most High.

can be thankful, whatever our circumstances, because we know something
better awaits us in the next life!

Greetings: God bless you this day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
IF I COULD STOP THE CLOCK:
Of course it's foolish thinking,
That I can stop the hands of time.
I'm comfortable with the present,
Not before me or behind.
