THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Distress, discouragement, depression-are all words that
begin with the letter "d." Jonah must have felt all of these
emotions when trapped in the belly of a fish. Similarly, it's
easy for us to feel engulfed and despondent given the state
of the world, overflowing with violence, hatred, and
corruption. Nineveh was no different, yet God sent
Jonah to such a place to share the gospel.

SCRIPTURE:
He said, "In distress I called to the Lord and he answered
me." Jonah 2:2
God does not want us to with-draw unto ourselves... He wants
the same from us as he wanted from Jonah... He wants us to be
a light in a world of darkness!
