THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

The story of Abraham and Sarah illustrates the futility of trying

to make a divine promise come about in our own time. Tired of

waiting, for a son, Sarah took matters in her own hands. The

result was disastrous. God's time-table always delivers an Isaac

when the time is right. (Moments of Peace in the Presence of God)

SCRIPTURE:

Truly my soul silently waits for God, from him comes my salvation.

Psalm 62:1 (NKJV)

Waiting for God's answer is difficult, to those who wait! And the answer

is not always what we want, but we need to trust him, that it is what is

best!
