THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Have you ever been mad at someone and had to apologize
for your actions or words? Did you ever have to ask your
child for forgiveness for an angry outburst? Until the
apology there was a "wall" between the two of you. This
is sin-a position of hostility, a barrier in a personal
relationship between two people and as a result, unpleasing
to God. This is where the Lord's incredible love for you
makes in impact. The Father took the initiative to provide,
at a terrible cost, the avenue for restoration-through His Son,
Jesus Christ. (Vantage Point Devotional)
SCRIPTURE:
We rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom
we have now received reconciliation. Romans 5:11
To stay reconciled with Christ, we need to be reconciled to each
other!
