Greetings: God bless you this day!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Even though we may have walked with Jesus for most
of our lives, we may not know him as thoroughly as
we expected. We study our Bible; we go to church, we
have good examples from our senior saints. Still we
are slow to grasp the loving power, the Presence, the
guidance in our lives. We do not always see him in the
hungry child, the hurting teen or the lonely widow, in
the handicapped or the blind. (Christian Voices)
SCRIPTURE:
Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger
on needing clothes or sick and in prison? He replied,
"Whatever you did not do for the least of these, you
did not do for me." Matthew 25:44-45
We need to see him also in the faces of the stressed-out
checker at the super-market or the rude drive in the car
next to us (my personal failure) or the harassed mom
that allows a child to scream while you're eating a meal
in a restaurant. Everyone we meet has a burden or a trial
they're facing. We need to see then as Jesus sees them!
Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda
