THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
God is our safe place, our refuge, and our rock when times are hard.
May we seek the comfort and guidance found in His Word when we
are in the valleys and rejoicing when we are on the mountain tops.

Hi Freda! I am going to a funeral this morning. The man is my age, and he had a child in my child's class in grade school. It's so sad to see a contemporary die, even though he had a brain tumor, and it's probably very merciful for him.

My husband, Jim got word yesterday that one of his friends died. They went to school together and worked together many years, Jim is 91 and has lost so many friends that each one is like a physical blow, even though he has great faith and knows that Harold was a Christian and is now in a better place.
