THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
To be found, you must admit you're lost.

SCRIPTURE:
Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which was lost.
Luke 15:9

One of the hardest things for us humans to do, is admit we're
lost, rather  then stop and ask for directions, we wander around.
(not everyone has an electronic guide in their car) It's the same
with admitting we're lost in sin, pride keeps us from repentance!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Trust God for your shortcomings; sometimes we're our own
worst critics. Recognize that God is not always worried about
or surprised by, or in a rush to fix some of our weaknesses which
concern us so much. We need to be honest, be open and willing to
be obedient. The Lord will be faithful to complete the work he began,
because Jesus is always working. (Daily Disciples Devotional)

SCRIPTURE:
(Jesus speaking) "My Father is working until now, and I myself am
working. John 5:17

Sometimes. we're our own worst enemies. Know that God is still
working on you and He can be glorified through your weaknesses!

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
As Christians, we know that we are supposed to love and forgive
those who sin against us, but truly doing that in our hearts does not
come easy. The Holy Spirit is the One who fills us with God's love
and only God's love can forgive those who hurt us or betray us.
Instead of waiting until something happens to us personally, we need
to be proactive and ask for the Love of Christ to fill us.

SCRIPTURE:
Stephen speaking, cried, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them."
Acts 7:60

Well, I've not progressed as far as Stephen, If I'm being stoned to death,
I don't think I could ask God not to hold it against them? I'd probably yell,
"God will get you for this!" Thankfully God is still working on me!

Human character: All of us are formed by life's experiences
and our practiced response. Through pleasant days and unpleasant
days, we are formed. Then the crisis moments puts us into the
fire and we emerge refined and matured or embittered and brittle.

Reassurance comes as we doubt our doubts and believe

SCRIPTURE:
I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief. Mark 9:24

Doubt comes to us all, at times. Prayer is a good antidote
to doubt!

If you are in a situation today where you need to see the
Lord on your side, get on your knees and start asking for
His help. God is willing to show His power, no matter what

Be strong and do not be discouraged 2 Chronicles 32:7

Never have we need God on our side more than we do today!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Put your faith in the Rock... not your job, your pension or
world peace. No matter what happens to the nation or your
personal life, you can always count on God in Christ. Put

Sometimes when the world seems to be falling around your feet, it is
hard to focus, but God is still there... waiting!
