November 30

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
HOW IS YOUR DAY?
Now is the day to put your trust in Jesus.
(Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day
of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2

As we enter into this busiest season of the year... let us
not forget that Jesus is "the reason for the season," and
try to keep our eyes centered on Him.

November 28

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
May we find ways to serve our family and friends to God's
glory. This is love in action. (Amy Pye-Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
Value others above yourselves. Philippians 2:3

I must confess I sometimes get so busy this time of year,
I make a list check it twice and some days I'm not so nice.
A reminder to remember family and friends are more important
than any other thing on our list!

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

November 28

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Discouragement is not limited to this season, but it can be
amplified then. Our expectation may be higher, our sadness
deeper. A little encouragement can go a long way.
 (David McCasland-Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
Encourage each other with theses words.
1 Thessalonians 4:18

Paul's purpose for the two letters to the church in Thessalonica
was to encourage this young body of believers midst  persecution.
That same encouragement is needed today. This season is not a happy
one for everyone, so be on the lookout for ways you may be an
encouragement to someone.

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda

November 27

Greetings: God bless you this Lord's Day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
When we make it our aim to serve God through praying
faithfully, we are taking part in a beautiful privilege, where
at any moment we may be given front-row seats to a miracle.
(James Banks-Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and
produces wonderful results. James 5:16 (NLT)

We often hear people say... "All we can do is pray!" Prayer is
the most powerful tool in the Christian's bag of tools!

November 26

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
WHAT ARE YOU WORTH?
God loved us so so much that He gave up His Son to die on a cross
and rise from the dead to ransom us and rescue us. That is what you
are worth. (Bill Crowder-Our Daily Bread)

SCRIPTURE:
It was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were
redeemed...but with the blood of Christ. 1 Peter 1:18-19

November 25

Greetings God Bless you this day!
I hope y'all missed me for the last couple of days . I took the time
off to get ready for Thanksgiving. At 84 I can't do too much multitasking.

THUGHT FOR TODAY;
Loving people is not always easy. Yet I was reminded  that frustration,
forgiveness, and faithfulness are part of maintaining the deep connection
with the love and light of God. When we choose love and instead of hate,
we are showing our relationship with God, and reflecting His radiance to
the world around us. (Jennifer Schuldt-Our Daily Bread)4

SCRIPTURE:
God is light and in him is no darkness at all.
1 John 1:5

We need to be reminded daily the only way the world will see God and
His Son, Jesus Christ is though us.

Know I prayed for you today, Blessings-Freda

November 22

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHTT FOR TODAY:
Where is my focus
In this thankful season?
Is it cleaning and food
All beyond reason?
(A verse in today's poem)

SCRIPTURE:
Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink or about
your body, what you will wear. Is life not more than food and the body
more than clothes. Matthew 6:25

May our focus be on the things we have and not on the things we do not
have. Make this truly a thankful week!

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda
