THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
God knows that it is not easy for you to obey him.
At times he asks us to wait. He also knows when you
wait on him, you grow in faith and learn to respond
with strength and wisdom. Those times give you the
opportunity to place your hope in God's faithfulness,
rather than focus on your own needs. When you face
difficult times and find yourself waiting for God to
answer your prayers, you're preparing yourself for
his perfect answer. (Moments of Peace in the Presence of God)
SCRIPTURE:
Wait for the Lord. Be strong, let your heart take courage;
yes, wait on the Lord. Psalm 27:14 (NASB)
We must remember: God's perfect answer may differ from
ours. He sees the whole picture, where we see only a small
portion, so he has a reason when he asks us to wait!
