THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
We stand in awe of the resurrection of Jesus not just because
of what we see, but because of what we know... We know that
when Jesus was raised from the dead it was a signal of the end
of death-as-the-end. Never again will death have the last word .
When Jesus died, he took sin down with him, but alive, he brings
God down to us. (Max Lucado)
SCRIPTURE:
If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly
be united with him in his resurrection. Romans 6:5
When we live in Christ, we die in Christ... which means that we do not
die, but live with him forever. We are united with Christ in baptism and
eternity starts in the life we live now! Romans 6:4
