An old Chinese proverb, popularized by the late Bishop,
Fulton J. Sheen, says, "It is better to light one candle than
to curse the darkness." How much better to let your light
shine, that transforming light that comes from being part
of Christ's kingdom... so others might see and believe.

SCRIPTURE:
The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.
John 1:5

We might argue, "but what can I do? I'm only one!" Think about how
one candle illuminates a dark room, that's how you and I can be in this
dark world.
