July 12

Greetings: God bless you this day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
A COAT OF FRESH PAINT:
Each June nearly 500 teens participate in Memphis Workcamp. They
paint houses for the poor and elderly that can't do it themselves. Shannon,
was a part of the workcamp and met Miss Edna, She found out that Miss
Edna had no family and over time their friendship grew. Shannon was in the
middle of medical school, when Miss Edna fell and broke her leg. She spent
every night on a cot in her hospital room. Miss Edna calls Shannon her best
friend! (Sally Shank-Power for Today)

SCRIPTURE:
You are like white-washed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside, but
on the inside are full of dead men's bones. Matthew 23:27

So many times we paint the outside and neglect the inside... the soul. Shannon did much
more just paint a house!

Know I prayed for you today. Blessings-Freda
